For the ninth release in Plasteline’s Elect series two back to back tracks courtesy of Tomas and Insteption are on the menu, the former’s ‘Black Voids’ embodying an intoxicating melange of melodic techno with some progressive elements, while the latter’s ‘Genesis’ sticks to a formula of tightly coiled syncopation and louring synth lines that wrap around each other to create a pinched and busy sense of time and space.
